On behalf of a fast growing iGaming company, we are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of their online gambling company. 

The CFO will oversee financial planning, risk management, compliance, and operational efficiency while ensuring strong relationships with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and regulatory bodies.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the iGaming, online casino, sportsbook, or gambling sector, with a deep understanding of payments, fraud prevention, and financial compliance in regulated markets.

Your Impact

1. Financial Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement financial strategies to drive profitability, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide financial insights and reports to executive leadership and investors for strategic decision-making.
• Manage the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.
• Optimize revenue streams while minimizing financial risks.

2. Payment Service Providers (PSP) & Banking Relationships

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with PSPs, acquirers, and alternative payment providers (APMs).
• Negotiate processing fees and contract terms with PSPs to optimize payment costs and acceptance rates.
• Monitor payment flow, chargebacks, fraud rates, and transaction approval rates across different regions.
• Ensure seamless integration of new PSPs, payment gateways, and wallets into the platform.
• Work closely with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and Compliance teams to ensure PSPs meet regulatory standards.

3. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with gambling laws, financial regulations, and AML directives in all jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with regulatory authorities, auditors, and financial institutions to ensure transparency.
• Implement strong KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML procedures in coordination with compliance teams.
• Develop risk management strategies to mitigate fraud, chargebacks, and financial losses.

4. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

• Oversee cash flow planning, liquidity management, and financial controls.
• Optimize currency conversion, hedging strategies, and payment reconciliation processes.
• Work with PSPs and banking partners to manage fund flow, settlements, and withdrawals efficiently.

5. Financial Reporting & Auditing

• Ensure accurate financial reporting, accounting, and auditing compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal teams to ensure compliance.

6. Fraud Prevention & Payment Optimization

• Implement fraud detection and prevention mechanisms in collaboration with the security team.
• Analyze transaction trends, chargebacks, and user payment behaviors to optimize payment flow.
• Work with IT and security teams to ensure secure payment processing and data protection (PCI-DSS compliance).

What You Bring

• Experience: 5+ years in a CFO, Finance Director, or Senior Financial role in the iGaming, gambling, or fintech industries.
• PSP & Payments Expertise: Strong knowledge of PSP integrations, payment reconciliation, chargeback management, and risk assessment in gambling transactions.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, reporting, and risk management tools.
• Technology: Experience with payment gateways, blockchain transactions, and fintech solutions is a plus.
