On behalf of our client, a fast-scaling performance marketing company, we are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their leadership team onsite in Limassol. The company specializes in ROI-focused campaigns across Native, Social, Display, Video, Search, PPC, and Audio platforms - optimizing spend and generating high-quality leads with unmatched efficiency.

The Role

This is a pivotal opportunity for a hands-on and commercially minded finance leader to drive strategic and operational finance in a performance-first environment. The ideal candidate brings a deep background in corporate finance, controlling, due diligence, and M&A, with the ability to manage complexity, implement financial discipline, and unlock growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Finance: Lead all financial strategy, including planning, forecasting, P&L management, cash flow, and budgeting.

Performance Intelligence: Connect financial insights with campaign performance, analyzing CPL, ROI, CPA and translating data into actionable recommendations.

Management Reporting: Deliver executive-level reporting with clarity, highlighting high-impact trends and insights in straightforward language.

Commercial & Legal Oversight: Assess labor laws, contracts, and capital structures with a strong grasp of legal and commercial risk.

System Implementation & Optimization: Build scalable finance operations using tools like NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Salesforce, or other platforms.

Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to IFRS, US GAAP, and other relevant standards; lead audit and due diligence processes where necessary.

Leadership & Change Enablement: Bring high business acumen, a strong work ethic, and the ability to “move stuck things” identifying areas that need change and implementing improvements effectively.

Banking & Treasury: Manage global banking, hedging, and financial risk functions with sophistication in hedge accounting.

Candidate Profile

15+ years in senior finance roles with significant experience in corporate finance, auditing, controlling, and M&A.

Proven ability to link finance with business strategy, especially in high-spend marketing or tech environments.

Advanced knowledge of Excel, ERP/Finance platforms, and BI tools (e.g., Looker/DataStudio).

Hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-driven, able to thrive in a scaling, agile environment.

Based in Cyprus or open to relocation; full-time onsite presence in Limassol required.
