On behalf of our iGaming client, we are seeking for a Head of Data. In this role, the chosen candidate will lead the data strategy and execution across of their fast-growing iGaming business. You’ll be responsible for building and scaling data infrastructure, ensuring accurate reporting, enabling data-driven decision-making, and supporting regulatory and operational compliance. This is a senior leadership role that sits at the intersection of data, product, technology, and business operations.

Data Strategy & Leadership

Define and execute a data strategy aligned with business objectives.

Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making across the company.

Lead and mentor a growing team of data analysts, engineers, and scientists.

Data Infrastructure & Architecture

Oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of scalable data architectures (e.g., data lakes, warehouses).

Partner with tech teams to ensure secure, efficient, and GDPR-compliant data pipelines.

Evaluate and implement appropriate BI & analytics tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI).

Business Intelligence & Insights

Collaborate with Product, Marketing, CRM, and Compliance teams to deliver actionable insights.

Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting on KPIs such as player behavior, retention, acquisition, game performance, etc.

Design and maintain dashboards for internal stakeholders.

Advanced Analytics

Leverage predictive modeling, segmentation, and machine learning to drive growth and personalization.

Oversee A/B testing and experimentation frameworks for continuous optimization.

Governance & Compliance

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all systems.

Implement and monitor data privacy, protection, and security policies in line with MGA and GDPR regulations.

Support regulatory reporting and audit requirements.

You Bring: 

Proven experience (5+ years) in data leadership roles, ideally within the iGaming, sports betting, or online entertainment industry.

Deep understanding of customer lifecycle analytics, LTV modeling, retention analysis, and game performance KPIs.

Strong technical background in data warehousing, data engineering, SQL, Python/R, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional data teams and delivering enterprise-wide insights.

Familiarity with GDPR, MGA regulations, and responsible gaming principles.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
